New Year's in Colorado

We traveled to Colorado for the week of New Year's with my parents, my sister's family, and my brother-in-law's brother's family. Snowy weather activities ensued.

One very exciting thing we did as a group was go tubing at Fraser Tubing Hill.

Chores with Papa

Sawyer spent the night before Thanksgiving at my parents' house. Papa made sure he earned his keep.

Tour of Sprucewold Lodge

Last post about our trip! As I mentioned, we went to Boothbay and stayed in Sprucewold Lodge, which is an incredible log-cabin style lodge in a beautiful forest above the harbor. The building had a great classic look (the halls reminded us a little of The Shining), it was clean, the food was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We really had a fun time --

Christmas

We're at Becky parents right now.  Sawyer spent the morning tearing through gifts.

One year

Sawyer was born a year ago today. We were too distracted with other things on that day to update this blog, but my sister documented the occasion.

Today was exciting -- they threw him a party at his daycare.

They said he acted excited about it all afternoon.

We also had a small party for him over the weekend. Sawyer got his own cake.

The rest of us enjoyed a dinocake prepared by Becky.

Whaaaaazuuuuup!

So Sawyer is a little behind on the current lingo, but he's definitely stylin' and up-to-date in his funky green shades. Sawyer and his Papa made quite the cool duo at the park.

Happy Easter!

So far Sawyer has been a pumpkin, a pilgrim, an elf, and a leprechaun - what else would he be on Easter but a bunny?

Top o the mornin' to ya!

Here's our little leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day.

As you can see, Sawyer stopped wearing his helmet earlier this month. Everything turned out great!

Six months

Yesterday Sawyer reached the half-year mark.

2007

One week 'til Christmas

The Sawyer update:
- 16 weeks old today
- met his cousins and Aunt Becky last night for the first time
- excited that Christmas is only a week away

Okay, so it's not Halloween yet, but Sawyer was feeling festive today and decided to wear his costume early. It was a big hit with all the ladies at the park.
